1. Two payment flows, two rules
PeakJuan has two distinct payment flows. The refund rules differ for each — please read both:
- Coach → PeakJuan (monthly SaaS fee, ₱299 / ₱999 / ₱2,499 depending on plan). Sent manually via GCash to PeakJuan's founder. Covered by §2 below.
- Client → Coach (coaching fees). Sent directly to the coach's personal GCash, Maya, or bank account. PeakJuan never receives or holds these funds. Covered by §3 below.
2. Coach SaaS fee — refunds
- 7-day money-back. If you pay your first month's SaaS fee and decide PeakJuan isn't for you within 7 calendar days of admin confirming your payment, email hello@peakjuan.com from the address on your account and we'll refund the full amount via GCash to the same number you paid from. Refunds land within 5 business days.
- After day 7. No partial- month refunds. If you cancel mid-month, your access stays active until your current paid-through date, then stops. We don't charge again unless you renew yourself.
- Plan changes. If admin changes your plan partway through a paid month, the existing paid-through date carries over unchanged — the next month is billed at the new plan price.
- Service-failure refunds. If PeakJuan is unavailable for more than 72 consecutive hours in a billing month due to our fault, email us and we'll pro-rate a credit to your next month or refund it on request.
- Suspensions. Accounts suspended for breach of the Terms of Service (fraud, harassment, security violations) are not eligible for refunds.
3. Client coaching fees — refunds
PeakJuan does not process, hold, or refund client → coach payments. When you pay a coach for a coaching package, the money goes directly from your GCash/Maya/bank account to the coach's personal account. PeakJuan only records that the payment happened so the coach can grant you access.
- Refunds are the coach's decision. Each coach sets their own refund policy. Ask your coach before you pay — most will refund unused months on request, but they're not required to.
- PeakJuan can help with evidence. If you're in a refund dispute with your coach, email hello@peakjuan.com and we can share the audit trail (when the subscription started, which programs were assigned, sessions logged). We don't adjudicate the dispute — that stays between you and your coach.
- If a coach refuses a refund you believe is owed, your remedies are with the coach directly (small-claims, BSP's Consumer Assistance, or GCash dispute channels) — not with PeakJuan.
4. How to request a SaaS-fee refund
- Email hello@peakjuan.com from your registered account email.
- Subject line: Refund request — <your-handle>.
- Include the GCash transaction reference + date so we can match it to your payment.
- We confirm receipt within 1 business day and refund within 5 business days to the GCash number you paid from.
We will not process refunds to a different GCash number than the one used for payment — this protects both of us.
5. Chargebacks & disputes
We'd much rather hear from you directly. If something is wrong, email us first — we'll almost always work it out. Initiating a chargeback or bank reversal without contacting us first will result in account suspension while we investigate.
6. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy with at least 30 days' notice by email to your registered address. Refund eligibility for a payment is determined by the policy that was live on the date of that payment.
